But - I'm sure this will improve in the future, as the team is working hard on it. Enemy heroes don't buy any troops in their castles) so the game doesn't present any challenge. AI is extremely weak (i.e. As of right now, VCMI is not playable in single-player yet. But if you've already upgraded, read on. It also makes a bunch of other old school games much more difficult to run.
Playon Heroes 3 Wine Configure Install The HD
It's currently in Beta but works fine. Install Crossover 19 for Mac. You should get the "Heroes 3 Complete" version from GOG and install the HD mod (read on) It doesn't (and won't) have Armageddon's Blade and Shadow of Death. Should be obvious, but don't buy the HD edition. As of right now, there's no way to make it work.
